A word about feed software

Some blogs offer a way to "Subscribe" to updates, These are called "Web Feeds". There are two main ways for a website to create a feed

RSS - Standing for Really Simple Syndication, RSS was created in 1999 and was the earliest form of a Web Feed.
Atom - Atom was introduced in 2005, Atom was designed to be more versatile compared to RSS, but less readers support it, in addition, less websites use it.
